Our story
Glasses worth your face.
TERSELLO exists because of one irritation that never went away: good glasses cost too much for reasons that had nothing to do with the glasses.
Walk into any optician and the maths is quietly strange. The frame costs tens of pounds to make. The lenses, a few more. Then the price on the shelf is twenty times that, because the shelf itself is expensive: the shop on the high street, the fridge of lenses behind the counter, the markup stacked on the markup.
We took the other route. The frames are made in the same workshops that supply the big houses, from Mazzucchelli acetate and proper stainless steel. The lenses are glazed to order in a UK lab. And the price you see is the price you pay, with single-vision lenses and both coatings already in it.
The camera try-on is the part we are proudest of. Buying glasses sight-unseen is a gamble everyone has lost at least once. So you try every pair on your actual face, at true scale, before spending anything. It runs on your device, in your browser, and nothing is ever uploaded.
Ten frames at launch. Not five hundred, because nobody needs five hundred. Each one in two colourways, each one sized honestly in millimetres on its own page. If a frame is not right, the 30-day home trial takes care of it.
Honest pricing
Lenses included in the sticker price. No coating surcharges at the till.
Honest scale
Every frame measured in millimetres, and the try-on honours the real size.
Honest trial
30 days at home. Full refund, free return, no interrogation.
Designed in the UK. Glazed to order. Tersello: the sharpest point of the eye, which is where we started.
