Size and fit
Find your frame size
Every frame has three numbers printed inside one arm. Type them in, or measure your face, and we show the frames that fit within 4 mm of your width.
The three numbers on a temple arm
Look inside either arm of your current glasses. You will find something like 51 [] 18 - 140. All three are millimetres.
51
Lens width
One lens, at its widest.
18
Bridge
The gap between the lenses, over your nose.
140
Temple length
The arm, hinge to tip.
Total frame width = lens x 2 + bridge + about 12 mm for the end pieces. That total is what matters for fit, and it is what the size bands below use.
Work out your size
Temple length does not change the width; we show it so you can compare arm lengths in the table below.
Your matches appear here
Enter your lens and bridge numbers, or your face width, and we list the frames closest to your size.
On-screen millimetre ruler
Screens differ, so calibrate first: hold any bank card against the dashed outline and move the slider until the outline matches the card exactly. The ruler underneath is then true to scale, and you can hold your glasses against it.
Your calibration is remembered on this device. Do not pinch-zoom the page while measuring, it changes the scale.
